"Sylenth1 cannot be run when a debugger is present." (solved)

I keep running into this annoying problem and I can know longer use Sylenth1 both as a VST2 and as a VST 3 plugin. I first noticed when I upgraded to Cubase 15 but the same issue is present in Ableton Suite 12.

I've tried reinstalling but it hasn't worked.

I can't even up my projects where I have used Sylenth1. Very Frustrating.

Hi,

Same problem for me running FL 2025 on a Win 11 computer. Problem started 5-6 of April 2026.

Have reinstalled Sylenth1 and tried to uninstall different updates on the computer without any results. Fun thing, if I open up FL fast projects with Sylenth can be opened or new instance of the plugin can be loaded, but after some minutes same problem as in topic header comes up.

I tried to end all my processes that is running on the pc that I don't use without any solution to the problem.

I just fixed this issue! Mine was caused by an Avast antivirus update. Had to completely remove Avast and replace with a diff antivirus but Sylenth1 is working normally now.

I am now having the same issue, I have deleted Sylenth1 and reloaded it a few times, deleted FL Studio 2025 and reloaded...nothing will fix this.

Had the same issue - it appears to an Anti-virus related issue. I saw the post about Avast above so decided to check my Anti-virus. I'm using AVG. I have just updated AVG again since seeing this post and then checked Sylenth1 on FL - It is working again

Heads up for all having problems - Lennar Digital have fixed this. Go to your account on the Lennar Digital website, Log in using your licence key and download the new version (3.075, the old version was 3.073) It was released in the early hours of this morning. I uninstalled the old version completey first to make sure that there were no problems. On reinstalling the new version you will need to enter your licence code and that's it.

Just realised the new version is only for Windows.
Thought I was doing something wrong, when I downloaded and installed the mac and still got 3.073, but the download page itself does say 3.073 for mac (and 3.075 for pc)...

Does that version work for the Mac ? If not it could be that an updated Mac version is to follow. Worth keeping an eye on the site

The bug only occurred on Windows, not on Mac. So the fix is Windows only as well.

Mostly yes, but not all. Mac version will follow, but Windows version had higher priority due to the issue mentioned above.
