I'd imagine so, but with very few exceptions I've gotten my 3mm cable needs met by cable specific (wholesale) suppliers for ages.vurt wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 9:50 pmyeah, probably not as worth a puntShabdahbriah wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 9:37 pm^^^ nice squiggly toroidal image

The 'recoder' looks like a lot of fun, but thankfully, I never got into pedals beyond a single korg expression pedal.

I'm thinking of getting a Keystep Mk2 37 for my Novation Peak for sequencing, making it more fun to use like the Minilogue XD. I was considering the Sequential Fourm as a controller for sequencing and poly aftertouch, but $800-1000 seems a bit much for a 4-voice analog synth. The Launchpad Pro Mk3 has 4 tracks of sequencing and polyphonic aftertouch, but I prefer playing on traditional keys (I had the Launchpad before). Has anyone had experience with the Keystep Mk 2, and are the keys better than the Mk1? And I know that it only has channel aftertouch.

so glad i went for it, was thinking "maybe next year when it's released..."Shabdahbriah wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 3:48 am The 'recoder' looks like a lot of fun, but thankfully, I never got into pedals beyond a single korg expression pedal.
then just preordered after receiving some unexpected cash (the best kind) and forgot about it...
then got an email saying they'd decided to just do the orders they'd already received and not do a general release.

So I bought that house and picked up the keys today.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Wed Jan 21, 2026 4:22 pmJust had my offer accepted on a house. It’s not any bigger in floor space than the one I’m renting now but it is detached so that’s a nice upgrade from a mid terrace which should mean no worried about annoying neighbours with my music or me getting annoyed by theirs.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 6:50 pm All purchases on the back burner until I finish exploring my greatest bit of GAS ever, the recent good luck I had with a pension fund I’d forgotten about seems to have made it possible to afford my own place for the first time, something I thought I’d lost the chance to do.
And if it all works out.. a lot more space for lovely gear in the future. Still months away but making progress.
And now I have been told there’s a bunch of hand sitting ahead as it takes months to get finalised.
Meanwhile I will have dreamy dreams about being able to house a real drum kit and a big old Ampeg bass amp etc.
As I’m now a few hundred thousand quid in debt I wonder… what new shit can I get GAS about?

If they had MPC Sample in store I'd already buy it. Sucker for small boxes that do beep, beep.

Am I crazy for thinking this? I've been looking to get a new main controller keyboard but none of them really do anything from and have features that I would most likely never use. So I saw Sweetwater has the B UB-Xa on sale for $899 and am thinking that would make a nice controller, 61 key poly aftertouch keyboard with an analog synth for not much more than controller.

My Sidrax Organ arrived and boy this thing is sensitive/expressive and confounding! It reminds me of a cross between the Lyra-8 and Landscape Stereo Field. It’s very easy to get chaotic but it’s got some really beautiful tones too.

I don’t know how pricing on used keyboards works in the US but in the UK a few months ago I managed to pick up a mint condition Korg Keystage 61 for £230. Not only does it have poly aftertouch it’s also MIDI 2.0 so with the right DAW will auto align automation controls with the encoders.psycho45039 wrote: Wed Apr 15, 2026 11:52 pm Am I crazy for thinking this?
