Tried to make an expressive all-purpose blues tone for strat players that feels good to play without too much compression. I think the NYX amp in MTurboAmp is something akin to a Mesa Mark IIC. Very fun and versatile device. Try messing with the input gain, amp gain, and compressor to get the feel you want from your guitar - mine is extremely bright and the pickups are sort of low output.
I'll be uploading this and my other presets to the Melda Preset Exchange.

No im using Bill Lawrence L45s - side by side blade humbuckers, but low inductance (2 Henries I think). The gate is set to something like -80db. I have a bit of 60hz hum emanating from somewhere in my music room.sparella wrote: Fri Mar 07, 2025 1:00 pm Nice. Given the inclusion of the gate, I assume you're using true single coil pickups?

Good pups!
I play bass, so I just have one guitar for occasional use but it's a versatile one with L45 Neck, L610 bridge, and a Fender SCN, designed by Bill, in the middle.

It must be here in the plugin itself, but the preset doesn't seem to be uploaded yet. I think the ONLINE EXCHANGE category appears once you've downloaded some presets.fragleader wrote: Sun Mar 29, 2026 1:31 pm where is the preset exchange? Idk man. I tried uploading it and the other presets I made. None of them seemed to take so I gave up. Melda seems more interested in churning out new plugins than revising old ones.

You could try and share the presets in this forum, in the way described by Melda here:

Maybe the online exchange is not working. If you report to us, we might be able to find out why your presets were not uploaded. If you do not want to share the presets anymore, that's fine too.

Perhaps because others have reported a number of Melda issues in the past to support and that has made your life better now? I might look into it myself soon, when I don't feel under the weather.

Obviously they read these forums. If they wanted to fix it they would.
It's telling that this is first time Melda have chimed in, despite this demo being over a year old (you're welcome by the way for making it). Clearly they depend on users to make presets for them because they put zero effort into the ones that come stock, which are laughably bad.

If you've been here very long you'd see for yourself that most feedback from the company is along the lines of "maybe we'll do that but probably not." Here is an example from yesterday:jan-sandahl wrote: Tue Apr 07, 2026 12:33 pmPerhaps because others have reported a number of Melda issues in the past to support and that has made your life better now? This particular bug is not something that matters to me, because most of the user-generated presets are harebrained at best. If Melda wanted to consult with me about improving their guitar related products I would be happy to do that provided I had some indication it wouldn't be completely futile. I've wasted a lot of time on this, MTurboAmp,and Guitar Architect, that I could have spent being productive with other, more conscientiously designed products.
