Different MIDI notes

Hi, when I push a C3 on my master keyboard, no matter which one, I see in TX16Wx the note one octave higher: C3 plays C4. The Midi in monitor shows me the right key but TX16Wx transposes. Is that a bug or a feature. I cannot find a point where I could change that in the sampler. Thank you in advance for any help.

Yamaha and the rest of the world decided on different standards for note number, so most things will set Mid C to C3 but Yamaha (and their evil toadie suckups) will say C4. Most better DAWs and devices will offer a setting, or is that an offsetting hihi

@CKeller - this is just notation. For all its worth, your keyboard could have a sticker saying "Nussika" on what you refer to as C3, but TX would indeed probably not use that label either. The actual MIDI note number sent and received remain the same. As @DarkStar was so helpful in pointing out, if this troubles you, you can just adjust note label numbering in settings.
And @Benedict, I fail to see how your reply is constructive in any way. If there is anyone in particular you feel is guilty of evil or Bombinatoridae-esque appearance perhaps you should state so more directly? As it stands, you appear neither clever or cool with your implied insults.
