There seems to be an issue with Voice Mode in the macos VST3 plugin. Changing it to legato doesn't seem to work properly - you can still play mutliple notes at the same time. The clap version works as expected - Bitwig 6 and latest Live
Could anyone confirm please?

If you use the max number of characters available in a preset name, it uses all the available space.
beely wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 10:05 am Also - why such wide columns in the preset browser? It seems like a poor use of available space and feels like we should be able to display more presets/columns...

I just want to say—as someone who still gets a bit scared by the depths of this plugin—that the recent UI update make it seem a lot more approachable to us people who are just about to do our first scuba diving into the depths of this modulatory paradise... I do agree that the deactivated plugins need something else to happen right now.

Did you switch on the MPE option in the Bitwig track?cb8rwh wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 10:06 am There seems to be an issue with Voice Mode in the macos VST3 plugin. We implemented MPE for the poly voice mode, not for mono modes.

Zebra3 not responding when zoom is anything but 100% in following case:
(I'm on Windows 10 64-Bit using the VST3 version in Ableton 12 (12.3.6)(and Beta 12.4B14)).
When selecting preset 'Hyperprism' and going to 'Synthesis' tab right clicking on 'Filter 1', 'Filter 2' and 'MSEG 1' Zebra becomes unresponsive for about 30 seconds and even greyes out sometimes.
This only happenes with this specific preset and only when interface zoom is NOT 100%
Must be a combination of things in this preset that triggers this.
Will see if I run into more.
Also happens in FL Studio 25.2.5 (build 5319) both VST3 and CLAP
Also happens in Reaper 7.65 both VST3 and CLAP

I think there needs to be an option to switch to a light theme when working at day light. I like the new looks but it's hard to read and see when working in day hours.
Working in the night, I think the new GUI is almost perfect.
The ability to change the color theme of Zebralette 3 is perfect for this example, can we have that option also with Zebra 3?

I can't get over how much more I prefer the sound of Zebra3 compared to the predecessor.
I don't even mean complex patches, it's noticable with simple sounds as well. Am I tripping or is it that much better?

The new UI color scheme is terrible and simply unacceptable. I hope there will be an option to switch back to the original green theme. After all, I bought the Zebra3 precisely because of its original color scheme. The current one looks just like Current, Vital, and PhasePlanet—completely unremarkable. As for the UE layout, though, I have no complaints.

I do not know, but maybe if the letters ADSR were placed in the center of the regulators, it would look a little better.

Read the UI stuff in the first post on this thread, someone is bound to come to your rescue when it comes to UI colors.ashone wrote: Thu Apr 09, 2026 11:09 am The new UI color scheme is terrible and simply unacceptable. Yeah I turned MPE off in Zebra VST3, but then also had to turn it off in the Bitwig channel settings.
I know MPE is MIDI Polyphonic Expression, but any chance it could be implemented in mono modes as well?
Thanks for the answer.

hey
1 please make it possible to modulate parameters from folders, distortions and ring mods modules
2. please fill in missing modules from osc, filters, manglers modules categories
3. i still don't understand why the bottom section is so inconsistent when it comes to naming and is not dynamic?
4. please consider adding the simple menu with sub categories, when right clicking the filter pictogram.
Accept that, the new gui is beautiful and way more consistent than before
And please add the advanced arp/stepseq in the next major update

Hey, just wanted to share some feedback on the beta, I've noticed quite a bit of jankiness in the UI, but I imagine it makes total sense given what sounds like a pretty significant overhaul under the hood. Really appreciate the effort that's gone into it!
I'm hoping you guys will get most of these issues smoothed out before the official release, it is such a wonderful synth.
Things that I think can be improved:
1. Scroll only seems to work half the time at best, and when it does work it doesn't feel smooth, it feels jittery.
2. Switching presets displays a noticeable visual lag when the plugin updates the modulation assignments for the new preset.
3. Switching oscillators the first time displays a fast animation, looks like a glitch to me, especially since it only happens the first time you switch to the oscillator.
4. The built-in (oscillator, mapper, mseg) mod matrix source sometimes animates in and seems to freeze the UI animation for a split second when it hasn't appeared yet.
5. Switching / loading presets seems very slow compared to the previous beta, especially initialising the preset.
6. When Key Control is on, knobs show focus when clicking straight away, however menus have a delay before the focus state appears (you have to click off the menu first).
7. I keep finding myself clicking / right-clicking the modulation circles that appear next to knobs, only to realise that I need to interact with the knob instead to find the source, I think this could be made more intuitive.
8. I don't understand why there is a way to create a modifier from within an oscillator since it can't directly modulate anything unlike MSEGs and LFOs, when creating via the oscillator it starts off empty, and then changes panels when you assign a modulator.
9. Would be nice to get rid of number drop-downs and make them draggable and type-able instead, for example Transpose and Pitch Bend requires scrolling a menu of ~80 options, which are all numbers.
10. Would love if the Filter 1 and Filter 2 labels actually described what they did in the various Noise oscillator modes.
11. Changing Oscillator renderer on the bottom Oscillator module when there is enough modules for a scrollbar to appear, scrolls to the top of the modules every time I click it.
12. It's hard to understand visually that in Additive mode the Spectral Disc knob adjusts the amount applied for the Spectral Modifier, maybe they could be moved into the same section?
13. This appears when clicking on elements that could be mistaken as controls, imo it takes an unreasonable amount of time for this to disappear, I wonder if it's more a hindrance than a help.

--------
Things I am appreciating:
1. The larger EQ display is much nicer to work with, and feels very smooth.
2. The colour coding of the modulation assignment bar at the bottom stands out really well.
3. The 4in1 mixer seems much easier to work with, though I hardly used it before.
4. The Exciter knob visuals are excellent.
5. Modal and Filter visuals are much improved.
6. The UI seems bigger on screen.
