love the new UI! except it feels sluggish when adjusting knob or slider values with the mouse, it worked well in the previous version. i'm on mac m1. the new modal module sounds so great!

The x:1 ratio in the FMO changes the carrier frequency even if the FM index is set to 0. Is this behavior intentional?

Initially, when using an FM module, you hear the carrier (a pure sine wave). If you rotate the ratio knob to the left, you change the pitch of the carrier wave, and if you rotate it to the right, you change the pitch of the modulator.

I think (but am not 1000% sure) we mark usage of Modulation Sources only if the assigned targets have a dedicated Depth parameter. That is, it has a slot in the ModMatrix or it has been assigned to any knob with a chevron below it.

There seems to be an issue with Voice Mode in the macos VST3 plugin. Changing it to legato doesn't seem to work properly - you can still play mutliple notes at the same time. The clap version works as expected - Bitwig 6 and latest Live

Here's what I assume might happen:

Some host and controllers when set to MPE Mode will send notes on different channels. This will sound polyphonic in Zebra (and almost all our synths) even when they are set to Mono or Legato - because we treat the setting as "per MIDI channel".

This allows for expressive play beyond the (intended) possibilities of MPE. Like, you can concatenate legato played notes polyphonically by "tapping" instead of just "sliding".

I searched this thread, and my notes. I couldn`t find it.

Here it is:

... where I've been able to higlight so many as 'Favourites' out of the box.

Keep in mind, once released, the factory library will move out of that beta folder, and favourite markings are lost. Some presets will be renamed too.

In order to keep most of your favourites marked, what you could do is drag each of the 15 folders outside of that beta folder, drop it onto "Local" so they all move one level up. That's where the final library would be located. But use our preset browser for that, so that the file paths are updated correctly in the preset database of the plug-in.

Then when you install the v3.0 release version, the updated library will overwrite the previous preset files but folder names remain unchanged and the relative paths to your marked favourites remain intact

any word on this? The way to select a FX Filter is..well.......not good...

We're working on it.

Background: The filter picker is on the Synthesis page, but the filters in the FX Rack can be visible when Pitches or Presets are open. We need to code a mechanism to switch to the Synthesis page if someone picks a filter while on any of the other pages.
