I have started from init patch, added Filter1 and set LFO1 to modulate its cutoff.

If I turn off that modulation in the matrix (clicking the "on" icon to turn it to dark grey and disable the slot) the modulation is still happening, is this expected?

Also, connecting LFO2 to the filter resonance doesn't bring out any small knob to control modulation depth, can it be done in this case only through the matrix?

Ok, I hadn't figured out that the empty circle can be dragged to change the depth.
Now I tried to add the "through" controller (to constant) and the circle became an "m", understandable.

I set back the "through" to "none" and the "m" stays there in the circle, not allowing to edit the modulation depth again...

Got it, the modulation in the matrix seems to add adds to the ones set directly through the downwards arrows, which are not shown in the matrix.
A bit misleading, if it's so... I would expect the matrix to include ALL modulations set.

LFO2 is now in the top row of the Mod Matrix slot, with mid row set to "none", bottom row "filter 1 resonance".
an "m" is still shown on the left of the knob, and that "m" cannot be drawn; I think the "m" should not be there where the mid row is "none".
This after setting the mid row to "Constant", then back to "none"; I believe it's a bug.

When you set 'Via' to constant and back to none in the Matrix, then LFO2 is no longer selected. Select LFO2 and the "m" will go away and the knob will return.

The "m" is to show there is modulation on the parameter when the source modulator is not selected.

I've also been making my own profiles. Very cool indeed. I hope profile data will eventually be saved within the preset file so we don't need to distribute profile folders with instillation instructions so people can use them.

GainDB controls the Normalize knob.

So:
4 -40 0.5

means that with the Normalize knob all the way down, partial 4 is at -40 dB

That's what it seems like to me... so you can make some partials (with +GainDB values) invert with the Normalize knob. (partial gets louder with Normalize turned down)

Also, trying to understand the Density parameter and the partials graphic.

Toy Bell.csv has 48 partials. However, when setting Density from 64 to 128, the visual representation changes. I would think that the visual representation should be identical since there are only 48 partials in the csv file.

Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of people requesting an option to have the old beta GUI as an option for the release version.

I've spent a lot of time in the Beta up to this point and have become quite enamored with that workflow.

Regardless, this is the most impressive sounding soft synth I have ever heard. Congrats!
