What does that mean?
THIS MUSIC HAS BEEN MIXED TO BE PLAYED LOUD SO TURN IT UP

Plugin Boutique usually offers freebie plugins with purchases. Like "Buy something, and you can pick one additional free plugin from X, Y, or Z". I'm assuming Twangstrom is one of the free options.

Looks like you have to spend a minimum of $49 to be able to select Twangstrom.

Yes, it's more easy to by Twangstrom with a sale or here on KVR

I'll endorse all of these very much:
TENS
PSP Nexcellence and Springbox
Audiothing Outer Space
Fuse VREV 63 and 305

Past To Future spring reverb IR bundles. Some real oddball and unique ones here.

Sunset Sound has a decent spring as well.

and i own them all
Agree.
Though IK Multimedia TR Dual Spring is new since this post, and is quite good too, and hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves. But Primavera still has the edge. I wouldn’t even consider anything else outside of those two at this point.

TENS is good, but like the AKG reverbs it’s modeled on, it doesn’t sound like a typical spring, so I don’t really consider it in the running, since I figure anyone looking for a spring reverb model is doing so because they want one that sounds like a spring reverb.

Different springs have different sounds, so it’s great there’s many choices.

TENS is one of my favorites, but I agree that it’s not what most people think of when they think of spring reverb. Someone else mentioned these as high-end and I’d agree. Those AKG spring boxes are f**king huge.

I’m adding Primavera soon as it’s on sale, and my only debate is if I’m adding their Echorec emu, which I don’t need but want.

Fuse Audio's VREV-63 is also on sale at PB for $19. I still need to check this one out, the feedback posted here makes it tempting and the product description checks off all the boxes.

I’m also curious where UAD’s Dream falls in all of this. I haven’t used it specifically for its spring reverb but considering it’s a recent release, I wonder what people who use it think of it.

I often end up using Safari’s Laydbug, which is a very specific sound that I love. That one has spring and plate, but it’s all character and probably not versatile.
