One thing I find annoying is that if I see a pedal marked tremolo, I expect it to be a tremolo and not a vibrato. Just because Leo Fender got these two effects confused, doesn't mean this effect needs to as well.

Also, if you have a mode where it is supposed to simulate the whammy bar being gently manipulated, then it probably should go first in the chain.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

I know, and it's seriously hard to decide what terminology most users will understand. If you type "tremolo" on e.g. Thomann, you see whammy bars. And when you browse effects that do roughly what this one does, they are almost always described as "dynamic tremolo". So that's what we did.

At the same time "tremolo" as understood by most non-guitarist musicians is volume fluctuations, not pitch.
