Yes soon a beta version of MuLab 10.2.x Plugin will be available.
It will still the VST2 version though, the MuLab Plugin VST3 version is not yet ready.
MuLab 10.2 App+Plugin will be released on rather short term, MuLab Plugin VST3 is planned for the MuLab 10.3 release, when that is all ready.

What's changed:

For MuLab Plugin: This beta update includes all latest changes since MuLab Plugin 10.1.25. See the history of this forum topic for the change log. Soonish the consolidated change log will also be available here: https://www.mutools.com/mulab-mux-change-log.html

Latest changes:
  • Drum Note Processor: Pad Layout list now uses sub-groups for a more user friendly choice of the preferred pad layout.
  • The very Drum Note Processor editor itself now also has that right-click background context menu, similar as when used on a front panel.
  • Upon choosing another number of drum pads from a front panel, the front panel window was wrongly resized. Fixed.
  • Other small improvements.
Attention: Also MuLab Plugin 10.2 is seriously impacted by internal code refactoring in preparation of MuLab Plugin VST3. Basic testing has already been done but it's much appreciated if you could help testing this MuLab Plugin 10.2 beta and report any issues.

Hi there !
The new version M10.2.14, using MuDrum, after a few minutes, randomly, becomes unstable
After pressing stop some sequences continue to run at half the time, stuck notes etc.
I'll send you as soon as possible the error Log

I have no clue what you mean.
Is it when playing from MIDI?
Is it when playing a project? Any project or a specific project?
Is it dependent on using choke groups?
Is it an issue with MuDrum itself or also outside MuDrum?
Would it be possible to share a screen video with sound of the issue?
All additional technical details very welcome, preferably repeatable step-by-step patterns.
Anyone else encountering problems with M10.2.14 and/or the upgraded MuDrum / Drum Note Processor?

I'll make further test as soon as possible.
I found this issue yesterday during rehearsal, so I can't tell you what's the variable.
Anyway, playing a project and MAYBE playing some MuDrum sounds with keyboard/pads.

No news on this?

Much cleaner, hopefully, the plan is to save all into a single preset file? Maybe as a second option?

One gripe about saving that has annoyed me for years...
You save a file, I think this mainly applies to colour presets, but may be elsewhere, can't recall off the top of my head, but save the file, giving it a name.
Some time later, you update the settings and go to save a file again but don't want to save with new name, just update existing file, but MuLab doesn't show what the current file is so you have to browse to the folder to find out what it is and then type it in to save the current file. Just about every other app offers Save and Save As. When you click save, it updates the current file, no name prompt, just saves. Save As is where you are asked to provide a new name.

Any chance you could update to do that please Jo? Thanks. :tu:
Great update though makes things look much nicer!

What's changed:
  • Improved Level Compressor.
  • New "Level Meter Headroom" preference which defaults to +6 dB so you have a better view on overload levels.
  • More wave color preferences.
This also replaces the "Unselected Wave Dim Factor" preference as you can now choose specific colors for non-selected audio.
  • More color preferences for lists, menus and project browser.
Due to this change you may have to reset your customized List/Menu Cursor color.
  • More color preferences for the level meters.
  • Couple of default colors have changed.
  • MuLab menu -> GUI -> Colors now uses a more neat editor with color groups.
Saving/Reloading color presets now uses a file browser and uses XML files.
  • Other small improvements.

cpu meter looks wider, or is that just my imagination?

Anyway, cool beans :tu:

Wow! That was quick! Thanks Jo :tu:

One thing though, I tested the Browser and it doesn't work for me. It opens and I can select a folder, but whatever folder I select it says "No file chosen", but I have separately saved files from M10.2.15 made yesterday, as well as the old lookspresets from before that. Selecting any folder doesn't do anything for me. Is it a bug?

Never mind, it saves as one new file now! Much better! Thanks very much

Size is the same as before but background color has slightly changed, so it's perception.
Anyway, cool beans :tu:
Cheers!

When you want to save a file, you can't select a folder, you need to select a file, like everywhere else in MuLab.

It's because M10.2.15 saved each colour section as a separate file, which I'd done, but M10.2.16 saves as one single file, like it originally did. I was confused as I didn't realise you'd changed it. But yes, works perfectly fine now, much better, thank you!!! :tu:
