Besides using two oscillators with phase reset on, you could create a single oscillator with built-in sub. See attachment (2 minutes "work").loctune wrote: Thu Apr 16, 2026 6:59 am As far as I can see there isn’t any easy way to sync oscs in Zebra 3 yet. What would be the ideal way to create a sub osc then?

Are there any plans for the next update to add the ability to save only wavetables (not oscillators)? As well as adding folders for presets of at least oscillators, msegs and mappers?

Already works for Oscillators... didn't try MSEG's and Mappersjohnnyberrygoode wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 12:47 pm As well as adding folders for presets of at least oscillators, msegs and mappers?

Yeah, everywhere. Until we figure out where we need proper file browsers, if any.pdxindy wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 1:46 pmAlready works for Oscillators... didn't try MSEG's and Mappersjohnnyberrygoode wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 12:47 pm As well as adding folders for presets of at least oscillators, msegs and mappers?

I think even a drop-down menu with folder names would be enough. The main thing is to be able to sort. What about separate presets for wavetables? Do you have any plans?Urs wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 2:00 pmYeah, everywhere. If you go into the user directory and add folders and sort your saved presets into those folders, then when you click on the name in the GUI (Osc1 for example), you will see your folders and the presets within them when you hover over the folder.johnnyberrygoode wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 2:47 pm I think even a drop-down menu with folder names would be enough. Thanks for the presets Howard! If I get the things correctly, this about creating 2 frames of a normal waveshape and another one down an octave, so crossfading at 50% effectively gives you the mix between the saw and the sub square? This feels like a great approach!Howard wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 10:16 amBesides using two oscillators with phase reset on, you could create a single oscillator with built-in sub. In all u-he products, when launching the plugin, the default preset folder is "Local". It is very convenient to use. It works differently in Zebra3. Is there a way to assign a default folder? What is the default folder in zebra3?

We wanted to stop duplicating presets to populate the initial folder with a little "best of". So we by default open with the "Showcase" smart folder.johnnyberrygoode wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 4:10 pm In all u-he products, when launching the plugin, the default preset folder is "Local". When you right-click the folder list, you can add "Showcase" to the hidden folders. Form then on, the browser by default opens at Local again (but we don't put any presets there).

I added Showcase to hidden folders, restarted the plugin, but still the presets from showcase are displayed by default. Maybe I have some kind of bug? Windows 10. Presonus studio one 6.6.4. Are there any plans to manually port Z2 soundsets (insofar as possible, obviously patches won't sound the same due to new architecture) to Z3? I paid $35 for Howard's Zebratron set, but I'd very happily pay the same again if doing so meant I didn't have to recreate the patches myself.

That's why we committed to maintaining Zebra 2 in the form of Zebra Legacy, to uphold the legacy and at the same time start fresh with Zebra 3. So we won't be porting anything over beyond a few favourites that we reinterpret.MCMorrise wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 4:34 pm Are there any plans to manually port Z2 soundsets (insofar as possible, obviously patches won't sound the same due to new architecture) to Z3? Yeah, I don't know how exactly it's meant to be. Mine always starts in the user folder.johnnyberrygoode wrote: Fri Apr 17, 2026 4:28 pm I added Showcase to hidden folders, restarted the plugin, but still the presets from showcase are displayed by default.
