Hello,
Long time no post ! A question : is there an approach, using Melda 15.x, to remove or lessen the impact of some reverb on an solo instrument track ?
Cheers.
Removing some reverb on a track ?

Thanks for the reply. Maybe if it was possible to somehow add a dynamic envelope to the sounds whose decay/release could be smoothly modified. Maybe some kind of subtle compressed envelope that would kick in during the later part of an superimposed envelope ...

Maybe something around a parallell inverted signal, a follower and maybe some dynamics processing to help with detection. Then cancel the most reverby parts by nulling the signal. Crossover magic?
Reverb is tricky. It adds phasing and chorusing as well. How to detect that? Transient rich stuff if easier, but sustained notes are harder. Sounds like an AI job really.
