Very very nice!! Now, all I can wish for is Linux support. :hihi: I've been wanting the plugin scanning capability for a while. Thank you!! :)

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

In addition to an improved scanner (out of process scanning, retries upon crash, plug-ins list stored in a shared folder with other Blue Cat Audio hosts...), please welcome the new preview with a new plug-ins browser/manager!

By the way, an (expected) "side effect" of the plug-in scanner is that PatchWork can now load Audio Unit V3 (AUV3) plug-ins on Mac.

Very cool. Is this likely to find its way into Axiom too?

Post

Yes it's already in the current Axiom preview!

Thank you for all the feedback. A new preview is available!

What's New:
- New icon for the plug-ins manager (easier to view at lower resolutions).
- Scanned VST, VST3 & Audio Unit plug-ins now appear before built-in plug-ins in the list.
- Searching plug-ins (and presets) with multiple keywords (or wildcards), separated by a comma now looks for all keyaords instead of one (AND instead of OR).
- MacOS: fixed PatchWork not finding third party VST/VST3 plug-ins when scanner launched from the plug-in on Apple Silicon Macs.

Enjoy!

New Previews are available for PatchWork, Axiom, Late Replies, MB-7 Mixer & Fader Hub!

The plug-ins manager can now be detached as a floating window:

I take it these features aren’t in the currently available demo version?

When is this likely to make it into the release version? Looking forward to auv3 handling.

Post

It's coming (very) soon!

Post

Great! On the verge of buying, based on what it already does , but looking to test the auv3 handling too.

Thanks

It is indeed a good idea to give it a try first! I've got good news for you: Patchwork 2.78 is finally here!

Haha. That was even more (very) soon than I imagined. Great stuff.
