I just purchased the Z3 upgrade and imported the license card. Initially it shows that it's registered to my name, however if I reload Z3 it reverts to the beta test license...any ideas?

I encountered the same issue today.
(My environment: Windows11, Reaper v7.61)

"Looks like the license card isn't sticking for me. Says registration successful then I see my name on zebra. If I remove zebra and load it back, it reverts to beta tester."


Solved: Both cards were in the folder, removing the beta one fixed it. Just saying in case, somebody wants to know.

On Windows, you can find the license cards here:

C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\u-he

On Mac, they are stored in the user library:

~/Library/Application Support/u-he

In my case, there were two imported license cards in the user folder.
After deleting the beta test file, the correct license card was recognized.

-I just purchased zebra 3. But when I import the License Card,it shows a registration failed information below:

-I didn't edit the zebra 3 License Card file,just downloaded it from my email.And I test the beta License Card,it works.Then I delete the beta License Card from AppData\Roaming\u-he and open DAW again,but my zebra 3 License Card still doesn't work.

-I notice some info in the order email:

#Your user name:
#"-------" <--my name is hidden here
#This is the same for all your licenses.

#Your Zebra 3 serial number:
#Could not generate key due to invalid username!

Someone knows what the problem is?

Please contact our support team. It just means that somehow there's. a non-plausible user name, for which no license was generated. They guys will fix this for you asap once you contact them.

I would definitely like to have a physical card that I can keep in my wallet. As long as it’s accepted at u-he stores everywhere.

Do you still send old-style license keys in e-mail? I just got the mail with the license card, and the mail also says "here's your old-style license keys" but there's none

I for one don't like the license card concept.

I keep my (normal) licenses in an ASCII file that grew over time and has everything ready for copy and paste. That has no mechanism to store image files.

(of course that didn't prevent me from buying Zebra3 Great release)

Don't mind buying Zebra3 outright, but wanted to make sure I got this right...

In 2023 I purchased the $99 bundle which included Zebra2 and ZebraHZ.
The only license received from requesting from "My Licenses" is a single, text, license key. No license card.

Does this mean I'm ineligible for the free Zebra3 upgrade?

Yes.
Only those who bought Zebra 2 and Dark Zebra (ZebraHZ), as separate products (HZ was sold as a sound bank), are eligible for Z3 free.

@bpack The free upgrade cut off was some time in 2022. So you aren’t eligible for the free upgrade.

For completeness, there is also very generous, 30 euro upgrade available for those who bought Zebra 2 (prior to the bundle) but not TDZ, like myself.
