Okay, now that I know you have to enable record and not just play (you need to redo your video) I got it to make sounds. Useful sounds is another story. And so far, testing Kontakt and Opus, I get different results.DamianoBaldoni wrote: Sat Apr 18, 2026 3:00 pm Has anyone managed to get Texturium working? I'm looking for feedback.
I'm currently working on a tutorial that shows how to set it up with Kontakt and LoopMIDI.
In the meantime, any feedback would be super helpful. Thanks a lot!
Opus - When I set it up as soon as I hit record and start the piano roll, I get no sound. I check Opus and all the tracks got muted. Since all MIDI data is coming from Texturium, somehow it is Texturium that is muting the tracks. I had to change the MIDI channel assignments in Opus for each track from 1,2,3,4,5 to Omni. Then it works except every instrument sounds with each note. IOW, 5 violins playing, 5 2nd violins playing and so on. It is an absolute racket. But at least I get polyphonic playback.
Kontakt - Nothing gets muted but only plays monophonically. Doesn't matter how many keys I hold down to play a chord. I only get one note sounding all 5 instruments.
That's where I am. I haven't tried Vienna Ensemble yet.
In order to test out your video exactly, I need to know what actual instruments you loaded for each channel. Perhaps mine are monophonic for some reason. Without knowing your exact instruments I can't duplicate your setup.
