Copy chunks of waveform.settings to new PC

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to manually edit waveform.settings somehow without Waveform then overwriting the changes?
I am trying to migrate the huge number of macros and k/b shortcuts I had on my old machine to the new one.
I have tried everything I can think of - editing waveform.settings before starting Waveform, while running Waveform, after closing it. It just gets overwritten with previous content that Waveform seems to have cached somewhere.
Windows 11, Waveform Pro 13.5.25.

The Macros are stored in the /Tracktion/Waveform/ScriptLibrary.xml file and your shortcuts are in /Tracktion/Waveform/Temporary/shortcutkeys.html .

So on Windows OS the path will be /Users/YOUUSERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Tracktion/Waveform
