Ive been trying to figure out how to upward compress with it but I read a comment on a random forum that theres a button on the GE thats not on the regular one that you have to press in order to activate Upward Compressing. Where is this button?
Right now i do wide band, setting ratio .5:1, and setting the threshold to -20 so anything quieter than that boosts up to -20. But i dont think those quieter sounds are being boosted.
So im assuming there a button thats on there that the forum comment guy was talking about.
Thank you any help is appreciated
How do I upward compress with Tdr Nova GE?

Simply setting the ratio below 1 will create upward expansion (i.e. expansion above the threshold). There should be a small button next to the THRESH button which switches between above threshold and below threshold, switching it to below threshold will enable upward compression and downward expansion.
