Having recently learned more about the abilities of my Katana guitar amp's USB interfaces for recording I wanted to experiment with it. I normally use a Yamaha AG06 as my AI with ASIO4ALL v2 as my driver. I'd like to be able to select either the AG06 or the amp as the audio input for a track while always using the AG06 as the default audio output. But unless I'm missing something, it appears that there's no way to have Waveform work with both the AG06 and the amp as interfaces concurrently. In settings I can either pick ASIO4ALL or Katana as the Device and once selected that device is the only one available to handle both inputs and outputs.
Am I missing something? Or is this a fundamental limitation of Waveform?
Concurrent use of multiple audio devices?

ASIO4All should allow you to have multiple devices underneath it, if they are available - but they probably have to all be on and connected when starting Waveform or choosing the ASIO device "group". Select and enable what you want. Gotcha - I think they all have to be at the same bitrate ?
Just did a quick test of Behringer 302USB as the input device, and my PC's default audio as output, and it worked just fine.

Thanks, that's helpful. I'll have to dig into the ASIO4ALL settings and see what I can accomplish.

Follow-up: this got me where I needed to be. I should have thought of looking at the ASIO4ALL control panel; thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
