Hi all,
we finally posted the CVilization firmware 1.1 on our website:
https://u-he.com/products/cvilization/
The new firmware is freely available to all CVilizations out there.
See this video for the update procedure:
The update fixes some bugs and improves some of the existing modes, but the major news is that it also lets one replace a mode of choice with the new Quad VCO mode. To replace one of the exiting modes, use our ini file generator for the config file on the SD Card: https://u-he.com/tools/cvz-ini-generator/
The Quad VCO mode turns CVilization into 4 independent oscillators, each with separate pitch CV input (V/Oct), with choice of triangle, saw, pulse, pwm, dual saw, 7 x saw, chords, each with a subosc, glide and an LFO (for vibrato or PWM), and CV Control over either pitch bend, modulation/chord selection, vibrato depth, LFO rate, glide time etc... and an optional Quantizer on each. The oscs can be edited independently or grouped for poly setups. More on that in the new user manual or the Mini-Cheat Sheet for the Quad VCO Mode (see website link above)
So this is 10 HP. Gonna change how much noise a small case can do.
Visit us on Superbooth (Z100) to see it in a action, and if you already have a CVilization, ask us for the Cheat Sheet extension for the Quad VCO mode.
Cheers,
- Urs & team

Congrats on the string of releases, Urs!
Looking forward to the update. I have a new 3D printed case to assemble and this is going in it.

Definitely a module I aspire to buy someday. Great stuff.
Tangled roots perplex her ways.
