thanks for such a detailed answer. It's really a lot to process and given that I'm still using an i7 4790K I could probably just look at the screenshots![]()

my first idea for this is to open a small panel - when you drop an audio file on the ui it opens with 3 options: just add , add with adapted length or analyzevanerio wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 10:01 am The kick import is starting to get scary, it's very good.
However I really still miss auto-adapting the kick length to the sample imported length.
Thank you very much Jan!
the other idea would be to give the sampler the option as well, a button appears, when the selected sample is longer, then the current workarea length.

Regarding the 3 options you propose, I expecifically would like to adapt length when analyzing. I am just saying because it seems to be an option not contemplatedJan_Audija wrote: Mon May 26, 2025 11:44 ammy first idea for this is to open a small panel - when you drop an audio file on the ui it opens with 3 options: just add , add with adapted length or analyzevanerio wrote: Fri May 23, 2025 10:01 am The kick import is starting to get scary, it's very good.

I think that both cases (your ideas) would be the right option. As I am not using drag&drop as I wrote to you by email, it is not supported in FL Studio and forcing it through wrapper settings as a workaround increases CPU consumption. So I'm doomed to load samples without drag&drop, I guess.

so the adapt to length should also become available through the sampler and the issue with FLS should be resolved, so the drag and drop works without the wrapper. I'll try to get in there asap.vanerio wrote: Mon May 26, 2025 12:15 pmRegarding the 3 options you propose, I expecifically would like to adapt length when analyzing. It would be fantastic if at least some parameters could be automated via MIDI so they could be controlled with a controller! For example, the harmonics. Macros for that would be great too.
If that were the case, then Audija Kickdrum would be unbeatable for me!

If there will be macros, we'll be able to control a lot with it, but I was a little hesitant, because it will not work like it does in a "normal" real time synth. If you would automate a macro from the DAW, each time the value changes, the whole sound must be recalculated because of the full signal lookahead that allows for the non-playback-delayed-linear-phase processing. Also we soon get the main patch calculated automatically on change for different keys, so we can play them via midi in different pitches, so there will be a lot to calculate...
but people want it - so let's see, what we can do with it and what not. So it'll come I guess. but first we get pitched samples calculated for a range on the piano roll, so we can use it to play basslines with linear phase filter sweeps - that'll excite a lot of people I hope, definitely I am

Woohoo! Looking forward to playing the pitch by midi. Not for playing basslines but for finding the right key for the kickJan_Audija wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 5:03 pmMjusick_73 wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 6:49 am It would be fantastic if at least some parameters could be automated via MIDI so they could be controlled with a controller! Thanks for the feedback! It's clear, of course, that not everything can be done in real time.Jan_Audija wrote: Sun Jan 04, 2026 5:03 pmMjusick_73 wrote: Mon Dec 29, 2025 6:49 am It would be fantastic if at least some parameters could be automated via MIDI so they could be controlled with a controller! I'm not talking about DAW automation here, but rather sound modifications via a hardware controller.
I don't mind the slight delay in hearing the result.
For example, controlling harmonics and wavetable morphing with a controller would be a powerful tool.
It's great that you're thinking about it.

no worries, you shouldn't see any difference there, the calculations will be in series on the thread it's already using for rendering the sound - also it'll be optional, so it can be turned off if not needed

Yes, for that use case it will work very well! I am now a little past "thinking about it", it's planned and will come.... but currently I am wiring in all colors for the skin system, 3 new devices are in the making (almost finished) and the whole audio-render engine in overhauled/refactored to support parallel sub-chain processing and key tracking. I'll hope to share results as soon as possible, but first tightening all screws againMjusick_73 wrote: Sun Jan 11, 2026 7:51 am

enjoying. This plugin has come a long way since V1 when i trialed it...
Quick question: is there a way to clear all modules? Or do i have to manually delete each module?
