Doesn't that mean this part?

"Voting:

[...]

Voting is mandatory for participants (disqualification if not voted). ALL tracks must be scored, and if you don't, you'll be DISQUALIFIED."
I don't think that contradicts what I said. It says voting is mandatory. It does not say that posting to announce that you have voted is mandatory.

Oh yeah you’re right :dog:

Like you mentioned, it does say it, but not that you HAVE to post, just “please make a post”

awesome round this month. hard to believe i've been entering these off and on for nearly 10 years at this point... thanks for providing me with an audience. producing tunes is such a great passion and its been fun to have a bit of a listener base to go along with it. i keep thinking this hobby will get old some day but alas...

Can't pass up the opportunity for a free U-He license - I'll ask for a license for Diva (finally) been eyeing that one off and on a long time. Thanks BJ and Richard and everyone in the osc.

Congratulations to everyone on an incredible round of OSC. So many great entries! :phones:

Thanks to BJ & Richard for keeping the OSC going, participants for your generous votes and comments, and to Urs for the amazing Zebra 3. :hail: :hail: :hail:

For a prize, I'd like a license for u-he Zebra 3, as it seems I've barely scratched the surface of its capabilities.

Just going through the final entries now, and it seems it's finally true that a pure synthesizer can replace a whole orchestra. There are oboes, saxs, mallets and all sorts of real instrument sounds that are perfect. And then you can use the same synth to make drum and bass and experimental? And the raw classic analog-style filters and oscillators are basically the best around? What a beast this is.

At this point, I feel like the only reason to use anything else is price and interface preference (although I guess that's not a small point, as there's definitely something to simple analogs, wire-style modulars and more visual wavetable synths). It is nice to have so many great softsynths out there, but you could have this be your only synth forever and be set.

Only thing kind of holding me back is I'll have to see how I enjoy the mod matrix. U-he doesn't seem to like spreading itself too thin, but I'd love a simplified traditional modular version take on some Zebra 3 components VCV-rack style, I be all in. I personally love building my own signal flow piece but also love seeing wires and the Any Cable Anywhere mentality.
