Ample Sound

hi, i have some guitar tracks that I created using midi keyboard with Ample guitar. I am finding that during playback the tracks have changed key. by turning the vst back on and restarting the strumming feature will usually resolve short term. Using Mixcraft software. Any ideas?

There's a keyswitch (can't remember what) that turns Strummer on and off. Maybe you're accidentally "playing" that note?

im not touching any keys. even does it with midi keyboard disconnected.

I meant "playing" in the midi file you've created. It's a C#6 to look out for.

there are a few small dashes on c2 which is the slide noise when the chord is changed on keyboard. not sure if this would cause a issue.

Shouldn't think so, no. It might be a Mixcraft thing and I use Logic so I can't of anything else.
What does the Strummer window do when the error happens?

strummer isnt in use as the track has been recorded. there is no error messages. i just notice that the chords clash occasionally on playback and when i check they have transposed key, so usually have to restart ample plug in to correct the key

The free version has a number of performance limitations but I'm not sure what they are. I strongly suspect that's the problem.

The Lite version is still on 2.31 and that version dates back to 2016.

The fact that it even works at all on modern operating systems proves that it was coded well, but things can change in 10 years and this may introduce new bugs.
