Trick to sync Oscillators in Bazzile?

Literally the only thing missing (besides triangle waves) from Bazille is real osc sync. For instance, you can have crazy cross modulation, but if you have true Osc sync, the sound will be a little tamer. You can also modulate things but if an Osc is truly reset/synced to another it’ll make things sound more harmonic

Is there any way to do this?

Also Urs if you’re reading…ACE does this and is great but why doesn’t Osc 2 have a triangle wave?

Thanks!

Because I did not know how to do sync with triangle back then, let alone sine/phase distortion

Oh! I didn't expect that response.

So, is there a way to somehow create real Osc Sync in Bazille? Like...resetting the phase somehow?

I'm not sure. Like so many things, it's mostly a question of time, CPU and design choices. It's probably more likely that we add triangle to ACE' second osc than sync to Bazille.

I always thought that Bazille's Fractal Resonance feature was a good enough alternative to sync, and a bit of a stand out feature. So right now I don't really know how relevant a dedicated Sync feature would be, as in, how much does it really add as opposed to other possible improvements?

Totally. And the fractal feature is great. The argument I have for true Osc Sync in that you can modulate say...the pitch as you're using FM (or whatever you want) and the true Osc Sync will tame the waveform to something more musical.

It's what they did (as you know) in the Jupiter synths with Crossmod mixed with Sync...you can modulate the pitch of the follower but the Sync will tame it.

It's just using different tools (pitch modulation) to wave shape but without actually causing your ear to hear the pitch change (since the Sync clamps down on it)

Wait..isn't sync in Diva possible with triangles? 🤔 Or am i missing something?

here to learn

Diva is younger than ACE.

Ooooo...right! 2009 vs 2011..didn't know that 👍🏻👍🏻

Well, my 2 cents; osc sync in Bazille would be awesome 😅😅

double..for some reason
