another thing i did notice previously too
when splitting audio streams s executes split on selected channel
only, it does so in the near(est) vicinity of the cursor, not that of the (time) ruler -which was positioned on a Grid division herebelow
is this how's it meant to work?

split some audio stream
select delete (audio stream) from the right click menu
confirm (delete) stream+file
the whole track (all audio streams on this track) get deleted, not only the split section i was workin' on
so i do ctrl+z (undo):

for me, it feels rather convoluted to setup an export of a few tracks, just as a backup/workintown
select the tracks, import/export menu select render clips as new audio clip, right click new clip, select edit in (select your external editor here), there i can do a save as
any faster way?

Please email me the log file for this crashed MuLab session.

It will be fixed in the next update.
Thx for discovering this bug, it that was there, undiscovered, for quite a long time.
Only happened when trying to use a shortcut key when an empty/unlinked audio clip was selected.

What's changed:

• Due to added support for PSP Audioware plugins in M10.2.25, this caused some other plugins (eg. Hornet HatefishRhyGenerator) to fail. Fixed.
• Trying to use a shortcut while an empty audio stream clip was selected caused a crash. Fixed.
• MuLab Plugin: When switching from eg. preset Wavework -> Empty Synth -> Wavework within the host window then the host window was not auto resized as expected. Fixed.
• MuLab Plugin: When the main module is a MUX Modular then switching between front panel and modular editor was not possible within the host window, it always popped up an extra floating window. This has been improved. It's still possible to popup a separate floating window by holding Shift, the same behavior as in MuLab App.
• MuLab Plugin: The window shading was not always right in the main host plug window. Fixed.
• Other small improvements.

Yes indeed splitting is using the mouse cursor, not the play cursor.

Yes:
Select the clips you want to export + Composer menu -> Export As Audio File.
It will then ask "Only export selected clips?", choose Yes.

when sending a MIDI controller here -and activating the MIDI learn button- nothing is learned/mapped
this is the rack MIDI controller map (right click on a rack)
(you'd think when you are in this window, there's a connection made from the event input)

Working thru bookmarks and now following up this one.
I doublechecked this scenario and it works as expected here using M10.2.28.
Can you please provide more details about when it is not working as expected to you.
Maybe by sharing a simple example project and related step by step.

no sweat, but the fault/rather issue still persists (tested in 10.2.27)

right click rack
choose edit MIDI controller map
options, add mapping
double click that
see that MIDI learn is activated (is by default i think)
send some MIDI
the MIDI channel is recognized and shown immediately
the MIDI cc in question is not shown immediately, you have to click the dropdown box and then click somewhere on the edit mapping window for the new parameter to show correctly
(so it is recognized but not displayed by itself)


now, all necessary connection are made automatically, so i guess one of my default MIDIs was not set correctly at the time

Odd. I can't repeat this. MIDI CC & Channel immediately change together.
Did you try different CCs?
