I discovered that Crystal still works in Cubase 15. In fact, it's solid as a rock and still sounds great.

Crystal also will work in many linux-wine combos, and the import of soundfonts for oscillators is a nice plus. Lots of synths that import .wav files of some format stay alive, Absynth 5 is a good example, people saying it was dead, without using it's import capability.
