Hi! So, I've downloaded the Ample Sound's free VST instrument Ample Percussion Cloudrum. I installed it but my Cubase 15 doesn't show it in the VST instrument list. I tried installing the "non-admin fix" but it didn't help. What can be wrong?
UPD I got it. There is no vst3 version in the APC install, and Cubase 15 doesn't recognize vst2.
Cubase 15 doesn't see APC instrument

You can enable vst2 plugins by toggling a button on the right top corner of the plugin manager.Tjalvi wrote: Sat May 30, 2026 12:05 pm Hi! The Problem
The user (chalvy) installed the free percussion instrument, Ample Percussion Cloudrum (APC), but it wouldn't show up in Cubase 15's instrument list. This happened because the APC installer only includes a VST2 version, and Cubase 15 disables VST2 plugins by default.
The Solution
An Ample Sound support representative (Liang) provided the fix:
Open the Plug-in Manager in Cubase 15.
Toggle the button/switch located in the upper-right corner of the window.
This reactivates VST2 support in Cubase 15, allowing the DAW to recognize and load the instrument properly.
