Trasport start cuts off playing track

Hi,
So, what I am doing is sending a held chord on my controller to a BWS track which is playing a VST. I then engage the transport to start a VST sequencer playing a separate track VST. The sequencer starts and the held chord is stopped. Any thoughts. Don't know if there is any way around this. BWS V6.0.6.
