Curious, is it regular stutter or "Bend It" stutter? Switching between sync/free is most likely the abruption of capture change which needs fine tuned smoothing. Will look into it Thanks!tlvid wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 10:28 am This is wonderful, thanks! I am getting some clicking on stutter when I change it from default e.g. turn mix down to 50% or change the sync to free. Ableton Live 12 Windows 11
Edit: Same on Tape Fiasco 1
Dices dropping tomorrow! Both global and per effect. Its wild, in a good way!

Modular Fiasco contains more FX and are way more heavy in terms of functionality and parameters. The strength of Modular Fiasco is the accessibility and creativity, many of them can receive trigger/gates, midi information from multiple sources, and many also have multiple audio inputs for different effect purposes. Not to mention the modulation possibilites...Choikdoi wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 4:12 pm In terms of the FX in Tape Fiasco, how much overlap will there be with what comes with Modular Fiasco?
They share some DNA, tape fiasco 1 and 2 can easily be created in a patch inside Modular Fiasco and it would be the exact same thing. Tape Fiasco was actually prototyped inside Modular Fiasco. However if you're not into an overview-kind of workflow and appreciate the linear approach as a regular DAW, Tape Fiasco is probably way more comfortable.

Thanks for the info. I'd be more inclined to wait for Modular then. But, I might still grab Tape if the release of Modular ends up taking a while.phasefiasco wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 4:48 pmModular Fiasco contains more FX and are way more heavy in terms of functionality and parameters. Normal stutter with the default Pianoteq preset playing a few notes. Two examples below:phasefiasco wrote: Thu Jun 11, 2026 3:37 pmCurious, is it regular stutter or "Bend It" stutter?
