Okay, I deleted the whole thing. Reinstalled the full 1.6 gig package. Brought it up in Cubase. Still no option to activate it.

Okay, now I'm really confused. In my user area, it says 0 of 3 devices activated but under status it says Active. So which is it? Is this activated or not?

It should be the first thing which pops up when you open it if it isn't activated; a big Activate button or purchase. What do you see?wagtunes wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 1:34 pm Okay, now I'm really confused. In my user area, it says 0 of 3 devices activated but under status it says Active. So which is it? If it goes straight to the plugin, hit the settings cog in the top right and go to Account, what does it say?

Thank you. You have to manually end the trial. Then it gives you the option to activate. First time I've ever run into something like that.CinningBao wrote: Thu Jun 18, 2026 7:10 pmIt should be the first thing which pops up when you open it if it isn't activated; a big Activate button or purchase. Me too. This thing is incredible. It's a producer's dream machine.

Yeah it's a bit of a mind blower. That said, here's my badly corrupted memory from many moons ago. Prepare yourselves.

1.5 just dropped (yesterday). It's a big 'un:
Added
Effects now open in pop-out windows with a larger, detachable view of their controls and visualizers.
Gate adds a Custom program: build your own beat-repeat sequence step by step.
Delay adds Ping-Pong for stereo-bouncing echoes and Tilt to darken or brighten each repeat.
Drop an image onto a cell to render it into sound by brightness, height, and color.
Image drop offers duration, band count, and frequency-range options, and can keep the image as cell artwork.
Random Slices adds an Auto Slice option that chops samples into a random number of slices at random positions.
Notochord Co-Player is an experimental live AI improviser that generates complementary MIDI from your playing and selected cells.
Co-Player controls are now modulation targets for LFOs, envelopes, macros, and DAW automation.
Stable Audio 3 sample generation is an experimental on-device tool for creating one-shots and loops from text prompts.
Magenta RealTime is an experimental Apple Silicon generative instrument that plays prompt-conditioned sounds per cell.
AI model management now downloads, loads, unloads, and deletes Notochord, Stable Audio 3, and Magenta models from Settings > Experimental.
The retrigger knob's right-click menu adds a Volume Decay toggle (on by default) — each ratchet repeat plays progressively quieter for natural roll fades.
The sequencer adds a Follow option in the pattern header: point a cell at another to play that cell's note, pitch, stretch, and slice sequences through its own sound.
Added EQ-8, an eight-band parametric EQ, to the cell effects.
Slices can now be reversed individually from the slice properties panel.
The sample browser right-click menu adds Load to Cells, loading one sample into several cells at once.
New preset packs now show a launch notice and a badge in the preset browser.
Right-click a cell's FX rack to hide unused effect units or show them all.
Changed
Drum Synth is now a standard feature and no longer needs enabling under Settings > Experimental.
A cell's Compressor now listens to its own signal by default.
Cloud stretch now respects playback mode: Trigger and Gate play once, while Loop scans continuously.
Apple Silicon Macs now require macOS 14 or later, while Intel Macs still support macOS 12 or later.
Improved
Experimental AI model settings now share a consistent layout with concise usage hints.
Plugin hosting reliability is improved for playback, sync, restore, latency, and compatibility.
The MFX patch bay now works like a proper node editor: drag an empty area to box-select, Shift-click or Shift-drag to add to the selection, and ⌘/Ctrl-A to select everything.
Selected cables and nodes can be removed with Backspace or Delete — deleting a node disconnects all of its cables at once.
Moving one node in a multi-selection now moves the whole group together, and panning the canvas is now Space-drag or middle-mouse-drag (a plain drag draws the selection box).
EQ and Filter now show a live spectrum analyzer.
Editing one effect across all cells now opens in its own detachable overlay.
Detached effect windows show and toggle the on/off LED and follow the window scale.
The Gate Custom editor adds a moving playhead and signed pitch per step.
Drum cells are grouped in the 8-cell view, and Drum Synth knobs sit on labeled panels.
Video randomization now uses only on-brand and uploaded fonts.
Fixed
An effect switched on by Randomize could get stuck half-on so the power button never turned it off.
Randomizing a knob on an effect left it switched off, so the change was inaudible.
The Moog filter was noticeably quieter than other filter types across the resonance range.
An effect's level meter kept glowing as if signal were flowing while the effect was switched off.
Fixed offline license activation staying locked after importing an offline license file.
Sequencer randomization and **Generate Pattern** now follow the selected grid division and preserve existing steps while shuffling values.
Double-clicking a sample or pressing Load/Enter now switches that cell to sampler view.
The piano-roll keyboard no longer appears on non-Poly pattern views.
SEQ UNIT no longer resets to 1/4 when loading presets without their own grid setting.
PAM VX now floats above the plugin by default and no longer disappears when focus changes.
PAM VX now keeps your layers, effects, and bindings when its window is closed and reopened.
Fixed a crash when adding a Camera layer in PAM VX; camera layers now start switched off.
Presets with several full variations could quietly stop saving new variations once the saved data grew too large — the extra variation simply wouldn't persist. Variations are now stored far more compactly, so all eight slots save reliably even on heavy 8-cell presets. Re-saving an affected preset upgrades it automatically.
The video randomizer could fetch images from external sites without consent; it is now opt-in.
Video bindings could be lost, flood the undo history, or fail to clone on paste.
Pattern lanes were misaligned in single-cell view at scaled window sizes.
I hadn't seen any updates in a few weeks, and now this. Good googly moogly.
