I should be able to build a Linux-version. watch this space!audiojunkie wrote: Wed Jun 17, 2026 3:32 pmI really like the sound and the simplicity of the synth! I have two requests that would push me into purchase territory:quantasticalsound wrote: Sun Jun 14, 2026 5:07 pm
Right now it's online activation, and after that it runs offline, only needing to reach the server about once a month. Fully offline activation is supported by Moonbase and on my near-term roadmap, it's just not exposed in the UI yet.
Dealbreaker for you?
1. I'm a linux user. I would LOVE to have a Linux native version.
2. With copy protection, I look for one thing, which has been successfully proven capable of being done, by other developers -- I want to be able to archive my software and its authorization, and be able to pull it off my back up drive and authorize my software onto a new machine, even if the company no longer exists or no longer supports the product. It can be serial, keyfile, watermark, a data card (like U-he and Plogue use), or whatever.
Please consider providing these things!![]()

This sounds great and would benefit enormously from MPE support. It should do pitch bend though... At least pitch bend. I play it with a LinnStrument and MPE is pretty important...

STRANG 2.0.4 is out now
www.quantasticalsound.com
- Fixed a crash when closing the plugin window (could hit any platform)
- Reverb now matches the standalone Corridor engine: fuller, warmer, correct room size, no more rattle
- Stereo room placement across all reverb presets (several were mono and leaning left before)
- MORPH reworked: DEPTH is amount, RATE is motion, RATE at 0 gives a static blend. Stronger contrast toward B
- HEAT/FOLD level smoothing: auto gain compensation tames the volume jumps when you engage or push them. Not perfect in every case, but much more consistent
- No more clicks when switching presets
- Fixed the first-note click after loading a preset (the old "few clicks then clean" thing)
- Arrow keys now browse the preset list
- TWIST PITCH shows in semitones
- Double-click resets any fader or bar to default
Thanks to everyone testing and reporting, it genuinely shapes what gets fixed first. Keep it coming.
Also, I used a few of your kind words from this thread in some promo material. Hope that's ok, and thank you, it means a lot.

Thanks man! Hope you'll come back to it when the time's right. It's not going anywhere and will only get better!simmo75 wrote: Fri Jun 19, 2026 5:17 pm This sounds great, congratulations!
Would buy but alas, cannot allocate money to musical instruments at the moment.
