Yeah, I will typically try to record each verse/chorus vocal separately for that exact reason. Sometimes, though, I've had trouble matching the sound of each recording take - slight differences in positioning and the like can have surprising effects on tone.

Still, I think you should consider recording your vocals in shorter segments since this seems to be a pretty dramatic improvement, at least imo.

Now listening to "It's Only Jupiter" (but it sure is huge!). Kind of avant guard, on parts of it; appropriately spacey. Vocals sound good, a bit like Jon Anderson. This would be good for a video regarding Jupiter, which has all sorts of bizarre clouds; with a giant red spot! I like it (the planet and the song)!
