Absolutely. Send them to support@stillwellaudio.com if you would. The error doesn’t repro for me or any of our beta testers, but more data is always better. If I can find it I WILL fix it.

What about a separate hiss plugin with the extra controls requested to do the auto blanking

I replied on the support ticket, but for public reference, the failing system is on Mojave 10.14.6 and the current minimum requirement for our plugins is 11 (Big Sur) to support Universal 2 binaries with Apple Silicon. Sorry.

.. no joke, I would pay for something like that. It's not at all easy to find or create "good sounding" noise. It's a huge part of quite a few genres and would be a godsend for creating sample sets for various lo-fi genres.VariKusBrainZ wrote: Tue Jun 02, 2026 5:20 pm What about a separate hiss plugin with the extra controls requested to do the auto blanking

I'd really like wow & flutter, along with a hiss level control. That kind of flexibility in a tapesim is important to me (sometimes I want old & lofi, sometimes I want "modern polish" or whatever).sstillwell wrote: Mon Jun 01, 2026 4:56 pm Just FYI I did NOT try to put wow and flutter in the emulation - it's not really meant to be an "effect" or a broken/out of spec tape deck, so lofi isn't really intended to be in its wheelhouse. If more or less hiss would get it over the finish line for you, though...that's a possibility.
A well-behaved signature.

I'm not sure that I'll ever add wow and flutter, but of course the feedback is very welcome regardless. I did add a hiss level control, though...I just need to push the update to the website after the beta testers do their testing. Shouldn't be long.JerGoertz wrote: Tue Jun 23, 2026 9:19 pmI'd really like wow & flutter, along with a hiss level control. Well, that's an odd statement, coming from you of all people, to say the least.j olhorst wrote: Tue Jun 02, 2026 3:28 pm Stillwell products were always highly regarded and affordably priced. When you double your pricing you've taken away half of the appeal. Also when you double your pricing, those interested in paying your new prices are going to expect more.

my bad
- but then again not the most difficult mistake to make, considering that even the first initial would be correct - certainly no coincidence in the slightest, right?

Oh bugger off, silly twat - the man's name is Jan Ohlhorst and your user-name is "j. olhorst"...j olhorst wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2026 12:18 am

I was far too friendly and polite to you in my previous reply - you painfully obviously deserve nothing of that sort. My respect for your just got reduced to zero.
