I can see advantages in using the simplified interface of the Remote app on stage, on the same machine you're running Studio Pro. There'd also be a case for using it on a Windows laptop or 2-in-1 to control a desktop PC.

Reviews have said that the fairly new, modern ToneMaster hardware pedal is quite good, I would like to get one. Some of that DSP is prolly in the DAW, or is gonna be!!!

Well, I hope so!! Will it compete with the Helix? Well, that is the question!

Fender Studio Pro includes the Mustang Native plugin. Is it better than Helix? You tell me. Here's a video comparison of the Fender Twin model to a real Fender Twin.

To me, it's pretty obvious which is the real amp and which is the plugin. It's not bad, but I don't think it can compete with TONEX or UAD Paradise Guitar Studio.

Studio One Remote is officially supported on Windows tablets. It allows wireless control of transport, mixing, and macros. To use it, simply download the Studio One Remote app from the Microsoft Store, ensure your devices are on the same local Wi-Fi network, and enable DAW discovery.

Ok well just using the Google crap summary, but I used to use it on my Surface Pro with Studio One but it seems to not be available anymore...

You are correct. It indeed used to be available for Windows tablets.

I found this:

I'm grateful that I can now run a full live set from an 8.8" PC without having to freeze or pre-render anything. It's what I've wanted to do for the last 10-12 years and finally I can, thanks to gaming handheld PCs. And when I'm at home I stick it in its cradle - where it connects to a 27" monitor, mouse and keyboard - and its just like using my $10,000 workstation at work. Actually, it's better than the workstation because I've got more local storage and don't have to rely on servers for storing everything.
