The sheer number of features added, and bugs squashed in their updates, should certainly have it in the running. Admittedly, this isn’t a conventional instrument.

It leans to the experimental end of the spectrum, and that’s what makes it so addictive for me. Labeling something as a “sound design playground” might come across as a bit high brow. But that description happens to fit PAM like a glove. It’s brilliant!

guys, am downloading the demo but 150 bucks? normally people complain with new synth vsts for that price but for PAM it seems so awesomely cool and fancy that 150 bucks is a steal? or am i missing something? i thought the price is a joke at first or a different currency selected

It's no joke, there was a -20 % coupon for a fairly long while, though it's probably done now.
There is an RTO option available to break it up as well.

There's pretty much no other sampler like this...

You want to randomise everything?

Right-click on the RND menu area and examine the popup, select all the components you want to randomise (SYN, SAMP, MID, FX, PARAMETERS etc), turn the RND dial up to 100 and prepare for the unexpected.

And don't forget you can also SEQUENCE THE RANDOMISER.

Is there a way to assign midi from the daw to individual slices? Haven't seen it in my poring over the manual and the ol'right click. I emailed the dev just a day ago so maybe I'm being a bit impatient but ah well.

I think i discovered a bug.
So when i randomize the section to the top right corner....only the samples in 8 slots ....it randomize in slot 6 or sometimes anywhere....only 3 or 4 samples an goes back to the first one. This happens when i randomize only my 2 User Samples folder each filled with 128 samples and the factory samples are switched off.
Is there a limit for a user samples folder ?
When i randomize only the factory samples it works great...
