Is there any plug-in out there that is CLAP only? supporting a new format is quite expensive, so when there are alternatives I'd rather not get into it for the moment, especially since VST3 licensing has been made much easier for everyone.

it's ok if it is too diffult / too much work
was just asking since it's just something i would like to see personally, as i usually only install or keep one iteration of each plugin to keep things tidier
the order of importance for me is CLAP->VST3->VST2 and then finally AU if nothing else available.
and as quite a few of my favorite plugins have CLAP versions, i'm usually just keeping these

I'm not a current Blue Cat Audio customer, so take the following with a punch of salt, for what it's worth.
When an audio plugin developer supports CLAP format, I view those companies as forward thinking and it does give me more confidence when making a purchase that those companies intend to stick around and continue to support and update their products for the future.
If I'm ever on the fence about a developer and 50/50 on making a purchase, if CLAP is still unsupported, it can give me pause for thought.
Just my two penneth.

Yes, I understand your point of view, and I’ve been following CLAP for a while. I do support the initiative and what it’s trying to achieve.
I have generally been an early adopter of new plugin formats (for example being among the first developers on AAX), but every new format still comes with a long-term cost in terms of development, testing, and support. So it’s always a question of prioritization.
At the moment, that work would compete with other features that many users are actively waiting for, so it’s not something I can realistically commit to in the short term.
That said, I am definitely keeping an eye on CLAP as it evolves!
