As Jim Lill likes to say himself, he is "just a performer". And yet, he can apparently write plug-ins with Plug'n Script!

If you could find a way to integrate a coding harness into the standalone, this would be so amazing. I already have used Claude and PNS to make some MIDI-processing plugins, but the round-trip from editing code to verifying functionality could be better optimized for that sort of development. But it's so useful. In the AI use-case, the developer doesn't have to learn AngelScript. I personally can read it, but like most languages, it's harder to write.

Have you checked the Letimix skin? It will reload the script automatically upon changes, so if your AI writes the code to the same file, you do not even have to click on "reload" to reload the script.
