Reminded me of this big company I used to work at, where someone would make an email-mistake and press "Send to all". That would then get a response, about not sending to all, sent to all and it kept going for a whole day, before IT blocked it.

It reached a new height with someone deciding to finish their chatting about no chat with an "I'm blocking you!" Yeah, thanks mate, everyone needs to know that. In the no-chat thread.

Happened to me too… it brought down our email server. It was a mass HR notice that someone replied all to, prompting multiple responses including my colleague next to me. She looked possessed, angry at their stupidity, while hitting reply all to tell them not to reply all.

If you met her, it just made sense.
