Yeah, I know. That was before the thing was even available. I want to know if anybody has actually bought this and what their thoughts are.

I have no idea what this even means or how it even begins to answer my question.
What is it with this forum?

It's a known pattern: a new developer, a website that looks like many others, etc. Not to say it's not good, but keep in mind this could be AI-generated.
The UI alone is a deal-breaker for me, especially for $99, $149, or $199, or whatever price they're charging after it. I expect a professional UI at this price point.

What is it about the UI you don't like? It looks like the ASR 10 to me.MillerSam wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2026 4:37 pm It's a known pattern: a new developer, a website that looks like many others, etc. Not to say it's not good, but keep in mind this could be AI-generated.

In 2026, we have many possibilities for UI design. Why would anyone want to replicate the visuals and workflow of vintage hardware in software when there are countless better ideas to improve and simplify it?
Vintage, yes, but at some point too much vintage is too much.

I already have Arturia's SQ80V so i am not interested in this one or the latest Cherry audio release.
I also don't see any info on the copyprotection they use and the page looks like a huge spam essay so be prepared to get your E-mail account flooded with offers as soon as you have bought it.

Actually that topic was mainly about Cherry Audio's new plugin. The other sampler plugin was off-topic.

Actually, I don't think that's going to happen. I communicated with the dev and offered to do a video review of the ASR V when it's released (actually they made the offer) and have yet to hear back from them. This was a month ago. I didn't even know it had been released yet.D-Fusion wrote: Mon Jul 06, 2026 5:05 pm I already have Arturia's SQ80V so i am not interested in this one or the latest Cherry audio release.

Without doing any research at all, I'd say it looks vibe coded. But I have no proof.
Vendor‑Dependent Copy Protection: Customers lose. Pirates win.
(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Well.....to me, vibe-coded SCREAMS quality. I think that answers a lot of things for me.

I just get a bit paranoid when i encounter web pages that looks like that.
I am happy enough with SQ80V atm. so i don't see a need for getting another similar emulation.
Hope you hear from them soon so you can make a video review of it and maybe i would change my mind when i know more about it
