although the list of plugins as of yet doesn't really spark my interest... I'm a guitar player with a podXT so the amp modeling/guitar synth isn't going to be that useful. And I just got DK+ like two days ago so i'll have to see how it compares to RMIV

Jesus ron, do you have a wire running directly from your lower brain onto the internet? I'm not sure how else that idea could have made it all the way through the myriad thought processes required to verbalise and type it without some part of your mind intervening with the advice "That's a daft thing to say mate - I wouldn't post it to the KvR forum and make myself look like an arse if I were you."rpc9943 wrote:hummpff looks like they updated the download pages in T1... only the design, still the same version .... Public beta? Does that mean theyre giving t2 away for free too?

Damn, I go out for a job interview and look at what I miss!
It's all good, the price is right, the included plugs are a nice plus and I don't have too many complaints. Maybe the time-stretching thing, but since I don't really use that it's not a showstopper. I'm cool with the boxed version, no issues there either.
But wait! WHERE'S THE FREAKING PANTS TOOL?

There's only been two pieces of software that gave grabbed my attention totally based on a review in Sound On Sound - the first was Tracktion and the second was RMIV, so I'll be a happy bunny come March (it's close enough to my birthday to be a present from the missus!)ModuLR wrote:RMIV definately is the attention grabber for me! nice!

Wouldn't surprise me if it has been improved, just no announcement as it would effectively imply "Tracktion 1 Timestretch? It's shit!" Not good marketing!cbit wrote:is this the end of the new features? no new timestretch? ah shucks
