And if so, how? Hopefully it's not the same one that was in T1...

I LOVE the sampler in T1!!
But then I write all my midi files via notation, so latency and whatnot are really not an issue for me.

Well, they've included a sampler in T2, so maybe there's your improvement?

There already was a sampler in T1, so if it's the same one in T2 there is no improvement.

I like the sampler in T1 too. In common with so much of Tracktion, it's easy to use and very productive.
And mapping multiple samples is a breeze... which you can't do at all in Live 4's "Simpler"
Improvements are always welcome of course, but I'm quite happy with what's already there... several major hosts don't have a sampler at all

I'll give you that, but I'm not giving up hope until I get an unequivocal NO from those in the know...Nu Audio Science wrote:Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm the sampler isn't a high priority they didn't even tell anyone that it was upgraded on the last point release (For yours truly)

Hey guys i dont know if your interested but i have an SE plug around here that i built (If i can find it) that goes before the sampler and adds a delay to the MIDI note offs allowing you to use an adsr with the sampler (Clever bastard aint i
)
I asked Jules to implement it in the sampler but he said it wasn't high priority ,So i asked him if this idea would work and he said NO (But it did teehee) and that it wouldn't be worth it for the T sampler so i doubt its of high priority (Especially as they are now shipping it with a third part sampler)

I think it wzas limited to 24 or 32 but i was making a load of recycled breaks that wouldn't fit ,I haven't had chance to put the pack out yet for a couple of reasons that i cant really disclose but it will be on the NAS website when upjtxx000 wrote:I got tracktion right before the new version came out, so I hadn't really played with it. Was it only single sample before?

There is no ADSR in the T1 sampler so as soon as you release a key it cuts off abruptly.
I can only use it for drums, so I rarely use it. I have dedicated drum samplers that work better and were freeware.
