What about Acidized loop capability? That's close to REX.........at least in purpose...

Thanks for the great update to the slicer. The slices seem clean and the detection appears to be improved. The time stretching is way better now. It would be nice to be able to drag slices directly outside of Speedrum to a folder or DAW in the future. I know samples can be exported from the pads as a workaround and extra step.
IMO... Speedrum has one of the best waveform editors around. I'm using the factory light color scheme and editing samples is easy on my eyes and more productive and fun in SDrm compared to a number of other programs!

So, if you now bring on an improved "in context preview" and at least some kinda modulation options (ideally a ModMatrix - doesn't need to be too complexed), you'd likely have a new customer.

In a future update SD needs to be able to record note length. Being able to switch a PAD sequence from step mode to piano mode. I tried to trigger a sound a certain length but it cuts off because to note length has a set value. Also... turning on certain effects like the Transient or Distortion cause clicks in the end of certain samples that's been chopped. It goes away when turning the effects off. We need a selectable timing grid and quantization options. A metronome would also be nice.

all sequencer related
0. default velocity for mouse added notes should be 100 instead of 127 as far as i'm concerned
1. drag-able pad sequence audio renders to host
2. "notes" drag-able via mouse
3. option to delete notes via second click instead of the right nouse button
4. as you can already set the end steps: selectable start step per lane too (not really that important, but why not)
5. modulation color should match the selected pad
my most requested feature though: whatever you do, make sure that the workflow won't be compromised by more convoluted steps as people quite often fall into this trap when trying to cram in more and more features
SPEEDRUM ALREADY IS AWESOME!!!
Thank you for this piece of art software gift!
