I had the same issue but solved it . I had the CD and the serial and last fall managed to upgrade it free to the current versions . That CD was the one bundles with the MS20 controller.

That was great to get the latest versions. It was complicated getting the upgrade code and took several steps to exchange the serial number in the CD to the new authorization system. It will work. I am not near my computer and I am travelling but send me a pm and I'll touch in with you when I am back home in early August.

From that free upgrade I was eligible to get Collection 6 FOR $99. Previously that was ineligible for use for any upgrade.

Good news for long-time KORG users: KORG Collection 6 can now be upgraded from the original Legacy Collection for $99 USD.

Previously, owners of the Legacy Collection (MS-20, Polysix, and Mono/Poly) were not eligible for this upgrade path.

To check your eligibility, log in to your KORG account and look under "Your Offers." If you qualify, you'll find a coupon code there that can be applied at checkout.

I'm such a "long-time KORG user" (Legacy Collection v1, still having the original CD and printed manual + ARP Odyssey as single plugin)
But i don't get the upgrade for $99 - for me it's $149... for years, in every sale

I will not be able to be precise but I can confirm:
- KC6 DISCOUNT coupons (over the full KORG Collection 6 products) are based on the number or the value of your current plugins.
- There is a maximum discount amount (I think 3 or more plugins reaches to the max MAYBE).

- KC6 UPGRADE coupons are for those who have a entire KORG Collection (KC Legacy to KC6, KC4 to KC6, etc). In this case you buy the KC6 Upgrade product correspondent to your current collection and use the coupon to be able to proceed.

- KC6 CROSSGRADE DISCOUNT is based on other products such as the Native Series (Wavestate Native, Opsix Native, etc) or the KORG Gadget.

You say that "the discount someone get is based on the number or the value of the current plugins".
By "plugins" you mean other products?
So for someone to get the $49 price, he must also have licensed more Korg products, something that wasn't the case in previous years.
From what i understand i'm in "KC6 UPGRADE". I have KC3->KC4->KC5 and to get to KC6 it is $99 now.
