exactly what I thought...rich_h wrote:Wouldn't surprise me if it has been improved, just no announcement as it would effectively imply "Tracktion 1 Timestretch? It's shit!" Not good marketing!cbit wrote:is this the end of the new features? no new timestretch? ah shucks

that kind of thinking didn't stop them advertising the ENHANCED MIDI EDITOR or EXTERNAL SYNC ("What? t1 didn't output midi sync! that's shit!"..) for examplerich_h wrote:Wouldn't surprise me if it has been improved, just no announcement as it would effectively imply "Tracktion 1 Timestretch? I'm not convinced yet. the announced improvements sound great but aren't the most important things for me. I'm hoping the demo changes my mind.

I'm someone who has had to be frugal with my purchases. Even when Amplitube LE was released for inexpensive along with Amplitube Live, I was still thinking, "If only I could come up with $80". Now it will be mine! MINE!! Muhahahaha!
For drum machines, RMIV has always been at the top of my wish list, too, but I rarely rarely 'need' a drum machine. I've just wanted one. So this is a second "YIPEEE!" for me.
I already have ST2LE, but it'll be nice to have those loops, too, as long as a good chunk of them are beats. I've not much use for bass loops and the like.
Slayer2 has gotten good reviews, too! I've never used it, but I can see myself busting it out for some occasional bass bits.
It's nice of them to have licensed bs-1 for all those people who didn't realize you can use soundfonts without a Creative card installed.
And-- well, I hope Final Mix preset management is fixed, because I already love it.
WOOOOHOOOOO!

My question is how much for the upgrade? That;ll be the most important news for me.

I was hoping for a freeze that releases memory or synth rack that releases memory and cpu.

Well atleast it looks like the crap plugins coming with it aren't gonna bump the price too much but wouln't it have been better gettin rid of all that stuff and making the product cheaper especially considering most of it either just doesn't sell anymore or is a LE version .
Oh well st least im gonna be able to afford it i think

Is anyone else downloading the demo of RMIV from the Linplug site to see what it's like? Just me then?
I'm hoping it comes with the kits. That would rock very hard
But however it pans out, i'm buying. Has anyone yet said they're not? Fools. Let us point at and mock them. Ha ha ha. Point point.
... it may be my bed time

It will be interesting to see what this means... and maybe the answer to those of us wanting better timestretch? For example, Rex2 is a major file type. And it's cross platform, unlike some...Importing and exporting of all major file types
If Rex2 is included I think that ReCycle may work its way up my wish list, especially as I am already a registered Reason user too.

I was considering RMIV too, so that's good news. But I want the kits

Can you tell us more? I thought ST2 looked very tempting, but then found ST2 free crashed by system , and noticed lots of people posting problems re. Tracktion compatibility...Lunch Money wrote: I already have ST2LE, but it'll be nice to have those loops, too, as long as a good chunk of them are beats. Greg
What is included in the LE version, and is it stable in T1?
