Company Unlocks Next Phase of Innovation by Removing the Innovators.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

In the case of TC Electronic they were already in financial distress and had been for sale for a year when they were acquired by Music Tribe a decade agosimon.a.billington wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2026 9:27 am To. y understanding, they've been in Denmark for the longest time. It's a shame that "saving a few dollars" always ends up overriding the soul of anything worthwhile.
I guess things could be worse though.
All of those jobs would have been lost long ago without it

Doesn't surprise me. TBH I thought TC was dead and buried a while ago, not sure why Tribe even bought them. I haven't seen anything TC for ages - even the Behringer mixers use KlarkTeknik FX rather than TC, which I thought might be a good fit. Did TC even have any employees left, and if they did - were they making anything relevant any more?

The X series mixers and the Wing both have the TC Electronic D-Two multi-tap delay unit algos inside of them. It's called "Delay + Chorus" in the X series mixerskritikon wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2026 11:49 pm Doesn't surprise me. On every channel on Behringer mixers has an gate and expander. Those are all TC algos
Also the DSP engineers at TC were instrumental on all of the effects for the X series mixers

Got 4 native TC plugs bought 2024 but never used/installed yet ,.. but license on iLok AFAIR
Now installers are nowhere to be found online ,.. (seems own HD-back is also missing)
And no info, help, guide, or links available
Dont se the need to remover my installers ,.. anyway its upright robbery ,..
They could easy have relocated them elsewhere
Should I just consider my plugs lost ,.. stolen by Uli ????

This company (Music Tribe) is the worst company I ever "talked" with.
They had a year +/- this offer "SYSTEM 6000 NATIVE BUNDLE, UPGRADE FROM VSS3 NATIVE".
But there was NO path for us who actually own the (most expensive) TDM versions of all tc electronics plugins. I asked support and got a super cold shoulder... "sorry you are not eligible for upgrade price".
I would not recommend my worst enemy to purchase anything from them

I went in circles with the tech support asking if the TC Electronic Vintage Guitar Pedal Bundle would ever get updated with resizable GUI. I just got 10 different slight variations of the same answer, which was meaningless gibberish.
I see now that the Vintage Guitar Pedal Bundle has been discontinued.

Again? I seem to remember it was discontinued and continued and now you say it has been discontinued again. I own quite a few of their plugins. I really like the sound of them.

Well, unlike before, all of the links to the Vintage Guitar Pedal bundle are dead, it's not in the software or guitar products pages at tcelectronic.com, and a search for it there turns up nothing.
You can find some retailers are still showing it for sale, like Sweetwater and JRR Shop, but I suspect if you actually tried to buy it, you would receive an email notice within a few hours saying it's out of stock and isn't available.

Wow. What an awful situation. Unfortunately, the move to “empowertribe.com” also got a new cdn-media sub-domain which adds a hash to the download link - IE you can’t just guess the download paths now.
When you go to the main tcelectronic.com page it has a picture which promotes that their plugins work on Apple Silicon. Ask the AI support for download links, however, and it’ll deny Apple Silicon versions exist! Which sort of sums up the situation.
None of the software appears listed on the TC website right now. But some of the hardware controllers, for the software, are. Some of these have plugin downloads listed under “drivers”. So you can get a handful of installers this way.
On Behringers forum ( creator.empowertribe.com - requires registration), via “explore tribes” then TC electronic, you’ll find a mega.nz link someone’s set up with many of TC’s Installers in the plugin folder. Note that this is not complete, and a fair few of the plugins are not the latest versions. This matters, particularly for Apple Silicon users, where you’re really looking for the 1.1.0.3378 versions of their installers. So it’s still not an ideal situation, but does (at least) give access to some more installers for now.

See my above post. Though, of the 4 you list, only the 2290 has a direct "official" download link for now. EG This should be the link to the 64-bit Windows version of the pluginHM wrote: Fri Jul 10, 2026 6:56 pm But any link, help, or installer is apriciated
