Hi everyone,

My entry is Retrospect, a curve-driven time-warping effect.

Instead of replaying audio with a fixed playhead, you draw a curve that controls how audio moves through time, allowing everything from subtle warping to freezes, reverses, stutters and more experimental rhythmic effects.

I’d love to hear what you think.

after downloading the installer, but before running it, a routine Windows Security virus scan reported the fileRetrospect-Windows-Setup.exe as infected with Trojan: Win32/Wacatac.B!ml
The file was moved to quarantine.

This is a false positive from your antivirus. Because the installer is currently unsigned and has very little reputation, Windows Defender may occasionally flag it with a generic machine-learning detection. If you’re comfortable doing so, you can safely restore the file from quarantine and continue with the installation.

I like what I'm hearing from the videos (there's a 30 min "jam" on OP's Youtube channel) but I'm always cautious when I hear of virus warnings, especially with new /unknown devs. I get that it's more than likely a false positive as OP stated but still....

I'm curious if any bold adventurers have installed Retrospect and put it through its paces yet?

This contains only the VST3/CLAP binaries so it shouldn’t trigger the Windows Defender warning.
