Hey @noiseresearch,

Oh, come on... this has to be a joke! 😅

Alright... have we laughed enough now? 😅

My experience with his (free) plugins, which were all the rage on stuff like Gearsl... ahem, Gearspace, was that they were extremely buggy, extremely non-deterministic, and most of all, bad or just nothing special. The limiter could work, sometimes, as a "poppy" limiter (round and warm) but honestly, with the crap metering and unpredictable behaviour, I find that his stuff is really bad. The EQ is literally nothing special. The compressor, meh (and unpredictable again). The tube emu... bah, humbug.

I sometimes question what kind of idiots populate that forum.

Hey @ampetrosillo,

Thank you for sharing your valuable thoughts.

We respect every opinion expressed here. We're sorry to hear that Free XM series wasn't for you.

We wish you a happier and more joyful life!

carambo wrote: Sat Jul 11, 2026 10:23 pm Mmm, so far you distributed almost free plugins through Patreon, and all of the sudden you ask 299$ for your new plugin, in a crowded market where legendary developers propose already nice limiters at a reasonable price ? This a bold move to say the least ! Question: more transparent by which amount ? How do you quantify this, and do you have any values to support your claim ?
Hey @carambo,

These things can be measured using the appropriate analysis software.

They can be observed—and heard—through A/B comparisons, as well as null tests and the resulting THD measurements.

Best regards.
Ok so I assume you already did these measures to support your claims, can you publish these datas so we can realize if the "most transparent limiter in the world" is worth the money ?

Your AI forgot to put labels on the meters...

All these responses are clearly AI.
And probably the free tier as well.

It's so weird when the developer is the troll.

At least people here realize the whole trolling/bot/LLM thing. Over at GS, as ampetrosillo was already alluding, many people don't seem to realize - or care. And the mods there are rather strict and remove a lot of critical and exposing posts.

bmanic's been doing the lord's work here. But IMO, even if you don't know the dev from Adam, this plugin's description and his communication style alone are enough to immediately dismiss it, if your standards and dealbreakers are in place (to borrow some relationship advice vernacular  ).
