(free update, just download and install)

In this update:

  • New MPE preferences and optional smoothing
  • New "Global" trigger option for MSEGs
  • New "Funktional" UI theme with increased contrast on labels (A11y feature)
  • FMO and Env params can be extended via matrix

  • "Stop All Notes" option (right-click keyboard control)
  • Win Installer supports ARM now (should run, even if no official Win on ARM support)

perfect. That MSEG became even more powerful. And the way it is implemented is great. Morphing from a 3/4 to a 4/4 (or whatever) works like a charm! awesome, unique stuff! :tu: :tu:

Thanks for the update!

Quick question: Has the Mapper Steps parameter finally been made modulatable (or exposed to the DAW for automation)? It's been one of my biggest feature requests for quite a while without ever getting a response, so I was curious if it made it into this release. Thanks
Its over for Bitwig--CUBASE WON !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks a lot for improving readability Urs and U-he Team! The synth has become a pure enjoyment!

It's a stepped parameter, for which we can't (yet) implement modulation. We might do that at some point (like we did with the Exciter's number of hits), but can't say if/when.

Sadly, the slew times on MPE pitch-slides are still too fast to smooth note-to-note slides on a grid controller such as the LinnStrument 200, resulting in steppy slides rather than smooth and continuous...

Typically, a good setting is around 100ms. Zebra-3 slew times on MPE pitch-slides appear to be significantly less.

Thanks for the nice update!
GUI looks better for me. But hope that in some update we will see more skins and the Zebra 2 skin as well. Really hope so!..
Thank you very much once again!

This is great, I was waiting - like usual - for the first update to actually dig deep.

Are there relevant known bugs left worth mentioning?

Thanks,
Mario

Have you tried setting the “MIDI Control Slew” preference to “slow”?

This was among the first things tried. Basically, there are the MPE activation button at the bottom, and the MIDI Control Slew in preferences, but with the latter set to slow, it's still too fast to slow the note-to-note pitch-slides...

It may be that the best way to illustrate what what's happening, is to contact you all through u-he support, where audio files and even MIDI output could be provided illustrating the issue.

What does "slow" equate with in terms of milliseconds?

It seems far less than this; perhaps 25ms, where the result of performing MPE pitch-slides leaves large audible gaps in the slides, where they are typically perfectly smooth across the range.
