You can create folders and organize your MSEG presets (same for other modules). Once you put at least one MSEG preset in the folder, you will see it in Zebra
But they dont appear as a branch in the menu. I got subfolders but every preset is in the open.
Do you have sub-entries in your zebra3?

Does it work for the OSC presets also?
Yes...

Ok it works, you just have to create subfolders IN the user folder it will not work in root. (same for MSEG)

Again, great update. I do, however, notice quite a longer load time on initial loading, slower re-opening of the UI and heavy drops in FPS (sometimes down to 20 fps). Especially when something needs drawing/updating (turning a knob, mseg graph running, stepper animation, etc).

I have tried multiple settings of the animations parameter, the graph mode parameter and size of the plugin. Also, this behavior is in both themes.

Win11, x64.

Afaik we have not touched any drawing code other than minor bugs, most UI improvements were small visual tweaks.

Yeah it's not perfect. When you have your own presets just in the "User" folder, then they are mixed with the factory presets on top level.

If you create a sub "User"-folder in "User" to show your own presets not mixed, but in a "User" folder on GUI, it is not possible, because it seems, Zebra doesn't accept the same name twice in the folder hierarchy. So you need to find another name.

Also you can not structure the factory presets into folders, it seems, they are all collected from all folders and shown on top level. Just first sub-folder level in user directory is separated on GUI.

I ask myself, if it would do any harm, if I would move the factory presets into user domain in subfolders to tidy-up. So I would see just my own presets on top level and the many factory presets would then have their own folder(s). The manual warns not to mess with factory presets, but at the moment, I think it might be a good idea.

I don't think it's a good idea. Once you move them, the next update will install the factory presets back to where they were, and then you have them twice. You can select not to install any of them, but then you miss out on improvements and additions.

Yeah, something like this, I had already in mind. Just wondered, if any of the sound presets might get smashed, because module presets would be at another place.

Maybe you could consider to structure the module presets into folders or/and make the list scroll-able via mouse-wheel? With the list full of presets and the arrows at the top and bottom of the list, I have to move the mouse over the whole screen and then, when clicking the arrow it needs some seconds to scroll through the whole list. Are just like 2-5 seconds, but feels kind of unnatural to me, not beeing able to scroll quickly and it's slowing the process down.

Hmmm..i am noticing quite the difference. I will take a look at my DAW's settings. Maybe something has changed after they updated it...Thanks

FL Studio. It seems a bit (really, just a bit) better when i enable 'fast idle'.
Still, if 'plot' is enabled and i turn a knob while playing, fps goes down from 144, to ~50
Same with the mapper, although that impact is less profound.

Ah OK, because Ableton released a new version and it seems, they definitely changed something in the displaying, too, as I received some problems.

Edit: to avoid misunderstandings: I didnβ€˜t receive any problems with U-He products, but with Ableton itself.

We have run some intense tests on several systems and with several hosts through the past few hours and can't notice any difference in UI performance. We'll keep an eye on it, but as long as we can't objective reproduce any issue, we can't confirm anything or schedule any fixes...

That is 100% fair, ofcourse. πŸ‘πŸ»

I will write to IL about the appearant performance loss. Maybe they can find the culprit. I am sure you didn't test the latest fl studio, which was released just a couple of days ago. Maybe something is wrong on their side. Thanks anyway πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ»
