The UI should make most of the functionality pretty self-explanatory—but here’s what isn’tobvious at first glance:
Any mapping names you create with this plugin will show up directly inside Bitwig’s Drum/Hybrid Editors!
AND—the plugin can import .drm files exported from Cubase’s Drum Maps!
In a few days, I’ll probably drop some preset configs I use regularly—like mappings for SD3 drums to ADD, and also setups mapped for GGD libraries.
Also, AI is seriously amazing. I had zero prior experience with audio plugin development, but AI helped me pull this off!

No thanks. You've been added to my "NO AI" filter, to be ignored now and in the future. There is some place somewhere on the forum for you to discuss this slop, but it isnt here.

To be save, you need to put all developers on that list. Its as simple as that. But you still have the option to program yourself…

No idea what you are trying to say, but I have the matter well in hand, thanks. No, not all developers will use "AI", lol. Have you been using too much chat gpt? Your words dont make sense.

Have you ever tried to program? Do you have experience with Claude? (Just as example)
The most respectful developers I know do use it, especially those who use iPlug or Juce can’t even avoid it, as even the tools are made now with the aid of AI…
It seems an opinion doesn’t need to be fact based to put you into a morally superior position. Though only out of your own perspective. And its just an opinion not more…

I have vast experience with most things in the tech space, but I dont write much code because I dont like doing that and it isnt my career. But the vast experience I have is MORE than adequate for me to understand what this unethical, unsustainable trash is, and frankly it doesnt even take 30+ years of tech expertise to understand it. It just takes a willingness to see human rights as real, for everyone, and not exclusive to a small % of the population.

Most developers I know are literally adversarial to these fraudulent tools, they actively sabotage them when they encounter them at work, and this is true for the dozens of folks I still keep in touch with from my various jobsites in the bay area.

If my position seems morally superior, that is because it is and this is trivial for someone with a 6th grade education to confirm. Its like saying "well arms dealing has to happen because wars have to happen, so SOMEONE has to profit from war", and expecting me to come along for that ride. No. none of this is sustainable, and when that bubble bursts, ohhhhh boy. Ill add your account name to my list and we can chat about how all this looks once it all comes down. ; ) Friend me. I would love to follow up with you in a few months.

The future will be locally based AI. Its a tool like syntax aware editors have been for decades. Certainly more advanced though…
You also need expertise to use them, or you create more problems than you solve…
