But I couldn't find audio examples.

No audio exmaples or youtube video ....maybe tomorrow...

Yeah, I found it bizarre too, that there are no audio demos.

I tried the demo and it is nice but a bit expensive for what it offers. I have https://www.filterorgan.com/ which is not exactly the same as Tessera but close enough and with some advantages. And cheaper

You can try the demo. No noise bursts or drop outs. Why listen to someone else's sounds when you can try it yourself? Plus AD did something unusual (for them). There are 100 presets

Because, I don't want the hassle of installing something on my computer without hearing what it sounds like first. It just seems like common sense to show off your product beforehand.

Audio Damage never used to have demos, they thought "no-questions-asked refunds" was somehow less of a hassle for everyone which always seemed bizarre to me.

? They're both $39.

Perils of not explicitly showing the currency, tessera is $57 for me but maybe it is showing $AU and filter organ $US.
If so that makes Tessera a good deal as it also has MTS for microtuning. Thanks for alerting me

It’s $39 US dollars, and absolutely brilliant!
I’ve had major gas for the Torso S4, mostly because of its resonators, this has quelled that…

I've given this another go - is quite different to Filterorgan and useful in its own way. Can get very muddy but improves a lot using EQ afterwards. The number of voices makes a huge difference - often I found just one voice gave me what I was after
I am not sure it gives me any more than Polyverse supermodal altho it does have a few different resonators

Post

I'm glad you took a closer look. I didn't want to get into a KVR battle, but I agree it's different than Filterorgan, which seems like a flexible vocoder. Tessera has multiple ways of triggering the resonators, nice control of them, and the different resonator models are quite useful. Comparing it to Supermodal might be a better question. I'm liking Tessera
